People are just people. why do we always feel the need to label them?

Label

Don't let what people label you define who you are. Just because someone call you by the name does not mean that is what you are required to be. Instead go out and define yourself. You will find that you have so much more to offer than what you ever imagined.

If you line up one thousand randomly selected people from across the earth , none of them would share exactly same skin tone. You could arrange them from darkest to lightest and there wouldn't be a single tie. of course, the continuity of skin tone hasn't stopped humans from assigning each other to discrete skin-color categories like "black" and "white" categories that have no basis in biology.

labelling people has become a trend in the world. Each and everyone is being labelled by some other people that we hardly know. People like to label a lot. They may tell you they don't, but its not true. we all are victims of someone. Be it fair or dark, tall or short, thin or fat, poor or rich each and every individual are being labelled.  We hardly complement someone. Especially in this current situation we end up labeling people  intentionally or unintentionally why not we try to call people by their designated name?

for instance when looking at someone you may have never seen before from head to toe you make a judgement based on what they are wearing and how they carry themselves. How is it that we can do this? Put another human being in our personal microscope and then label them as they may or may not be. labels are mostly used to describe a certain behavior, but people never act same all the time so how is it that we can be labeled with one stereotype behavior?

what we need to start realizing is that we are not labels so we need to stop wearing them. we are more than what other people label us. We can be more than one thing. we don't belong in a box. From topic of
race, gender,  socioeconomic status, mental health, religion, physical health, and everything in between would all have less issues of stigma and discrimination if we all gained more perspective on our actions and words. Humans ae not items in a supermarket that need to be slapped with labels, so lets allow ourselves and others to be free to be who we truly are.
